Yuma Amtrak Train Station: The Yuma Amtrak Train Station (YUM) is located at 281 South Gila Street which is near the intersection of Gila Street and East Third Street. There are very limited facilities as listed below that are available during station hours. The Yuma station serves the Sunset Limited route which currently runs between Los Angeles and New Orleans.

Yuma County Area TransitServing Yuma CountyYuma, AZ Yuma County Area Transit: Yuma County Area Transit (YCAT) operates regionally in southwest Yuma County providing 7 routes. 5 of the routes begin at the Yuma Palms shopping center offering passengers the opportunity to transfer to other routes. The Yellow route travels between San Luis, Somerton, and Yuma. The Orange route travels between Wellton and Yuma. The Red route loops through the northwest areas of Yuma. The southwest Yuma area is serviced by the Green route loop. Those traveling on the southeast side of town use the Blue route loop. The Gray route services the Cocopah reservation area in Somerton, while the Purple route connects the North Cocopah reservation to the West Cocopah Reservation. |
Yuma Greyhound Bus Station: The Yuma Greyhound Bus Station is located at 170 East 17th Place which is located near the intersection of South First Avenue and East 17th Place. Limited facilities are available during station hours. Yuma serves as the midpoint for Greyhound Lines service between Phoenix and San Diego with the nearest point to transfer to northbound routes being Calexico California. Yuma International Airport: The Yuma Airport is owned by Yuma County and is operated by the Yuma County Airport Authority. The airport is a joint use civil and military aviation facility, sharing facilities with the Yuma Marine Corps Air Station. The FC "Frosty" Braden Passenger Terminal features a restaurant and lounge, a gift shop, and a game room to supplement the four automobile rental agencies and three commercial airlines operating within.
Scheduled flight service is available to Los Angeles via United Express (800-241-6522 ), while U.S. Airways (800-235-9292 ) services Las Vegas and Phoenix. (U.S. Airway will discontinue service to Las Vegas after August 17, 2008). Delta Air Lines (800-221-1212 ) is flying the daily flights to and from Salt Lake City. (Delta will discontinue service to Salt Lake City after Aug 31, 2008.) |
