Immaculate Conception Celebration 2013. Celebrating the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception and 80th anniversary of the canonization of Saint Bernadette.
Activities begin with mass at 11:30 a.m. on December 8, 2013 at the Ramada at Immaculate Conception located at 505 S. AVE. B, Yuma, AZ 85364.
Additional activities after the service include: Food, games, entertainment, children's activities, and much more.

2013 Somerton Tamale Festival Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013

Each December, YCAT offers a tour of holiday lights around Yuma for one hour. Buses depart from Downtown Yuma Transit Center at 7:00 p.m. This year service will operate on Friday, December 20, Saturday, December 21 and Sunday, December 22, 2013. Due to the popularity of this service, YCIPTA will strive to have additional vehicles on this route, however, service is provided on a first come, first served basis. The route served includes the Fortuna Foothills as well as Central Yuma on a tour that takes approximately one and one half hours. Hot drinks and snacks are served prior to boarding the buses. Regular YCAT fares apply. $2.00 for basic riders and $1.00 for discount riders.

Spirit of Yuma Military Festival January 10-12 2014Historic Downtown Yuma's Main Street will be the venue for the annual Spirit of Yuma Military Festival. Honoring active duty and veterans of the military, the Yuma Art Center will display historic photographs while the Historic Yuma Theater will host various speakers and presentations. Vendors of all varieties will be on hand on Main Street.

Sunrise market dawns Sundays at Quartermaster Depot
Organized by Alex Trujillo, a Yuma-born and Cordon Bleu-trained chef, the Sunrise Farmers Market opens from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this and every Sunday through April 27 at the Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park, 201 N. 4th Ave. Admission to the park is free during the farmers market, and free parking is available at the main entrance, with additional parking at the back gate (2nd Avenue and 1st Street, below Old City Hall).
