The Yuma area has many interesting things to do if you know where to look. In an effort to better answer the question of "What is there to do in Yuma?", we offer the following suggestion for things to do in Yuma Arizona! Take your kid fishing! There is no license needed for kids 13 and under.

Stroller Strides: a Mommy and Me workout group. Fitness for Mom, Fun for Baby! Classes are for expecting, new moms, or moms with multiples with stroller aged children. Classes are an hour long with cardio and body toning while singing song to our children and teaching them fitness is fun! We also do a weekly Plum Moms Club play group where we do a weekly craft with our children at no cost to you! RSVP is required for all crafts! Yuma has some amazing trails and backroads that are ideal for 4 wheel drive enthusiasts! The many trails in the area range from easy to very difficult, so there is trail for just about every level of vehicle and driver.

See the only Native Palm Trees in Arizona! Although Palm trees are a common site in Yuma, the only place where they are considered a native species is on the Kofa Wildlife Refuge in Palm Canyon.

While the Colorado River below the Laguna Dam is often quite shallow, usually there is enough water to enjoy a jet ski ride. The Colorado River above Imperial Dam is ideal for jet ski adventures.
