The City Council in Quartzsite did not want the public to hear what a local resident Jennifer Jones had to say during a call to the public. Rather than let her have her 3 minutes to speak, the council had the resident arrested. It seems that the residents of the town have discovered the power of the video camera and posted the arrest on You Tube for all to see. This has brought much attention to the small town.
