Cisco and Apple Battle over iPhone name.

I had to laugh when I read that Apple thought that their iPhone device was not similar enough to the Cisco iPhone product to cause any trademark infringement. Ignoring the fact that both products are designed to provide a two way voice conversation, I thought of the obvious consequences of Apple’s contention that Trademarks do not count if the devices are not similar.

As such I am considering offering a bunch of new products to the public including:

The iPod – A revolutionary device for removing peas from their pod.

QuickTime – This new clock uses a minute comprised of 57.6 seconds. This allows for a 25 hour day.

The iTunes – An auto tuner for stringed instruments.  Dynamically increases the pitch of flat musicians.

OS X – The tenth generation of custom Oregano Shakers – Matching salt and pepper shakers available!

The iMac – A unique code assigned each individual wordwide to allow public access to rest rooms.

Apple should have no problems with my use of product names as the devices are so unlike their products.

Why stop with Apple products? If Apple gets their way we can soon see neet products such as Mountain Dew air freshener & SunnyD sun awnings.
